We are a family-owned business resulting in more than 50 years of experience in agricultural activities, and fish farming production. We have developed an efficient production system based on experience, knowledge and the search for appropriate technologies that adapt to our business conditions.

PRODUCTS

We produce red and silver Tilapia, Cachama and Yamú. Our capacity allows us to satisfy the requirements of large volumes that ship nationwide. In tilapia we handle all sizes with strict compliance adapting to the different ranges requested by our customers, guaranteeing their satisfaction.

Cachama: We select the best seeds to obtain the best quality in appearance and size.
*Yamú: Product that due to its appearance, despite being different in its space, has come to satisfy markets with high consumption of bocachico.

Production

Our principal asset is the specific genetics that through scientific standardization achieve the best phenotypic conditions of color, appearance and growing efficiency. Our reproductive system for raising and fattening fish is based on the application of state-of-the-art biotechnologies that work worldwide in the development of fish production in all its stages. Through a rigorous control of pathogens and the aqueous environment we guarantee the best conditions, the correct implementation, and the efficient reuse of water, with the goal of obtaining the best product at the best costs: with a healthy coexistence and sustainability for the environment.

Infrastructure

We handle three types of production systems: Water ponds on land (100 hectares in water mirror), 17 floating cages located in the Betania Dam and a hypertensive system (IPRS) that focuses on using part of the pond as a lung where the cultivation is carried out in raceways immersed within the same pond. This way we achieve greater efficiency in the use of water, hence, better production conditions. This gives us the ability to ensure quality and compliance. We have two independent processing plants, in which the slaughter and preparation of our products is carried out with the highest quality standards.

Distribution and markets

We have more than 20 years of experience in the Colombian market serving large surfaces, supermarkets, fresh produce stores and institutional sales. Recognized in the market with an excellent quality product, a distribution network that guarantees delivery compliance and good customer service. Our goal is to focus on having international expansion, reaching places around the world with our products.

Steps of our process

We control the process at each stage of growth, selecting foods with high quality nutrients and rich in protein content at the best prices in order to guarantee a very competitive price in the market within our quality level.

Feeding

We have 17 cages located in the Betania dam, all of them with aeration systems, that give us the ability to respond to our customers with good-sized, high-quality products.

Laboratories

Water quality and fish pathology to ensure efficient and sustainable production. More than two hundred and fifty thousand larvae are produced daily for our consumption and for selling to local producers.

Ponds

With water recirculation, ionic balances and beneficial bacteria remediators that break down impurities in the water, we obtain the ideal comfort for our fish and achieve a sustainable and environmentally friendly established system.

Processing

Two processing plants with the highest standards in the safe handling of food, and temperature control that ensure the cold chain in the steps of capturing, processing and delivering the product to the client.
